I second LEP. Must ask, why did you not try to buy rail in your area rather than let it be taken out bucket.

            Case IH x3.
Wall is about as good as any politician out there and Sask is definitely the best place to be......the voters in Alberta will learn a lesson about why you shouldn't vote NDP.

PS- Little off topic but since it was brought up, sure getting sick of that hipster Stromblopolus talking about hockey.....bring back MacClean and Don Cherry!!

Without a doubt there were some economic forces that were in favour when Brad Wall was voted in. I am of the opinion he has done well to lead the province. I like him as a leader and do not see any solid replacements in the Sask Party or the opposition, so I hope we don't lose him to the Federal Conservatives.

Uh yes about the rail. I was late to that party but hodgeville isn't in my area. I just thought it was stupid to pull out a rail line from a 10000 tonne concrete.

But I expect people like wall or anderson to step up on issues like that. Wall lives closer to hodgeville than I do.

I don't mean to bitch ... it must be the way it comes across.

Let me try something different like facts.

Here is an interesting fact. Brad wall rallied the conservative troups to prevent potash Corp from being bought out. A stategic resource. Really sort of a socialist thing to do, if you look at it objectively.

He never made much of an effort to call agriculture a strategic resource when the railways refused to move a large crop.

The rest of his record will speak for itself. When his government gives away a 100 million dollar plus infrastructure to a group of 20 farmers for nothing.

And will probably dump another 500 million into another like project as well.

I have quit taking a myopic view of the world lately and started wondering why only a select group benefit instead of a the province as a whole.

Emsley a political backer of wall pulled some interesting moves before the loophole was closed with a farce of a survey on farm ownership.

What this province could be and what it is is just a matter of vision.

Here is an idea. Take back the slaughter plant in moose jaw and run like it was when it was canada packers. Old cows and bulls could be sent there without going thru an auction ring.

Take the 2 billion for the regina bypass and put it into all highways that need repair until you figure out bringing a ring road back into the city is backwards.

Maybe let the riders build their own stadium. Use the economics justify the build. It's not there for sports teams.

And I started this thread because I find it interesting that the national media is promoting this effort.

He has said no every time he is questioned.

Pretty rare for a saskatchewanite it get free promotion like that.

Whats wrong with a little critical and constructive thinking and crtitizism? .....balanced with some positives!

Nothing is ever completely perfect....or flawed.

Bucket on the Moose Jaw packing plant, I know a little something on that.

The government took a look at that. Packing plants are money losers. That is why no one stepped up with public money. That is also why the big fish eat the little ones in that business. That would also be a socialist thing to do.

Just like when a terminal is built where it shouldn't be, then don't throw good money after bad. Hodgeville plant should never have been built. Just like the pulse plants at Vanguard and Chaplin.

I am not sure what you are referring to with the $100 million infrastructure being given to 20 farmers.
