yes wall has not been that terrible.
he even moved left enough to protect
    the potash royalties.
and he has not had a fire sale on the provinces assets. thank you

But putting wall in charge will not change who dictates Conservative policy.

the Mulroney / Harper gut the country. sell it out policy

take power from the Can. people / govt. and had it their corporate bosses.

    that will not change

just think from now on , 3-4 corporations will own and control every seed you
    could possibly plant.

farmers and consumer will never have rights to them. ever.

does it not scare you that they could eventually control every seed on the planet.
what more would you need for world domination.

Wall has his corporate masters as well.

That 2 billion dollar ring road didn't route itself back into the city.

And he loves football do a new stadium got built.

He ain't doing this shit for the province... he is looking after himself for future years at the province's expense.

Name one project Wall could claim as his doing under his leadership?

Devine had alot of **** ups but he built a few that were forward thinking for the growth of the province.

Everyone loves to hate Devine, but I agree, he had hutzpa and he was forward thinking. Rafferty Alameda - power, Lake Diefenbaker. He built on our strengths, just ran out of time. Compared to Wall - A football stadium adds debt, not wealth and carbon sequestration has been going on for a long time. No need to waste taxpayer dollars like that.

I am very curious how Harper's policies were so far reaching to give control to all the seeds in the world to 3 or 4 corporations? Canada was far from the first to ratify upov 91, an agreement I will bet was drawn up in 91 lol. As for giving control to companies outside Canada, it would seem to me that Canada's upcoming taxes and regulations to our domestic oil industry is simply going to send resource jobs to other countries and increase our dependence on foreign oil.

At 25 bucks a barrel maybe we should be building storage and be dependant on foreign oil while still expLoring and proving our reserves for a later date. If it makes more sense to buy oil at less than the cost of production here, are we not money ahead?

yes Hamloc we were not the first to sign
              UPoV 91 ,
but like our mothers said ,if everyone else jumps off a cliff.
does it mean you should too..

all the govt. would have had to do to clean up the whole mess .
and build a competitive innovative market , would be to allow free access to any off patent seed.
(did not happen)( wonder why )

not outlawing the terms of use agreements , where we can never own seed.

creates the ultimate, market lock cartel.

to top it off the govt. grants the right to police and collect royalties at the ports .

pretty obvious who writes the laws
              for the conservatives.
and in spite of all their BS ,there is nothing free market about them.

                There is no off-patent seed.

The masters made sure of that.

Can you imagine how brave our government would have looked if they would have said, no-piss off to UPOV 91? Too bad these spineless yahoos caved.

Granted Sask had some very good times in the last several years.

But were not those years the time to be extracting much higher (but still affordable) royalties from resources. Were those royalty holidays necessary for sustainable growth; or have they really given away literally a once in a lifetime opportunity that would have been appreciated in the harder times ahead.

And I see more common sense and leadership in buckets comments than ever demonstrated by any Brad or cheerleader of his ilk.

Call somebody a bitcher and they will either agree....or give the same in return.

                        Nice use of language?

Consider that given the conditions in Sask; that things Would have happened ....with or without any favorite son.

Now a fellow named Grant didn't have luck on good timing....and he put Sask closer to the edge than it had been in some decades. As in being effectively almost bankrupt. Remember "You could mismanage Saskatchewan's economy and still breaak even"???

Not long ago those 12% Sask "junk bonds" just matured. Best retirement investment some ever made. It took some suffering to get to that point....and certainly can't all be attributed to any Brad.

Isn't the drama teacher and Goodale putting an end to UPOV 91?
(I thought it was mentioned on Agriville before that a different party would axe it.)

So Bucket like I said, railways are federal jurisdiction.the provincial government has been very supportive to local groups that are interested in buying them but if there isn't local support a shortline wouldn't be successful anyway. So like I have said before if there is a local issue you have to stand up and be counted.

As for having no second in command I think Brad has several he could count on, Boyd, Krawetz Chevelldayoff to name a few.

A lot better than the liberals had with Dionne and iggy.

Also still one of the best financial track records compared to any other province during his tenure.

And finally what big projects would you have the provincial government undertake when it was next to impossible to get labour for the last six years? They have spent a record amount on roads during that time trying to reverse Romanow's revenge.

Before you nitpick I know Cheveldayoff and Krawetz are taking reduced roles, but they played big roles in the past.
