yes Hamloc we were not the first to sign
    UPoV 91 ,
but like our mothers said ,if everyone else jumps off a cliff.
does it mean you should too..

all the govt. would have had to do to clean up the whole mess .
and build a competitive innovative market , would be to allow free access to any off patent seed.
(did not happen)( wonder why )

not outlawing the terms of use agreements , where we can never own seed.

creates the ultimate, market lock cartel.

to top it off the govt. grants the right to police and collect royalties at the ports .

pretty obvious who writes the laws
    for the conservatives.
and in spite of all their BS ,there is nothing free market about them.

      There is no off-patent seed.

The masters made sure of that.

Can you imagine how brave our government would have looked if they would have said, no-piss off to UPOV 91? Too bad these spineless yahoos caved.

Granted Sask had some very good times in the last several years.

But were not those years the time to be extracting much higher (but still affordable) royalties from resources. Were those royalty holidays necessary for sustainable growth; or have they really given away literally a once in a lifetime opportunity that would have been appreciated in the harder times ahead.

And I see more common sense and leadership in buckets comments than ever demonstrated by any Brad or cheerleader of his ilk.

Call somebody a bitcher and they will either agree....or give the same in return.

              Nice use of language?

Consider that given the conditions in Sask; that things Would have happened ....with or without any favorite son.

Now a fellow named Grant didn't have luck on good timing....and he put Sask closer to the edge than it had been in some decades. As in being effectively almost bankrupt. Remember "You could mismanage Saskatchewan's economy and still breaak even"???

Not long ago those 12% Sask "junk bonds" just matured. Best retirement investment some ever made. It took some suffering to get to that point....and certainly can't all be attributed to any Brad.

Isn't the drama teacher and Goodale putting an end to UPOV 91?
(I thought it was mentioned on Agriville before that a different party would axe it.)

So Bucket like I said, railways are federal jurisdiction.the provincial government has been very supportive to local groups that are interested in buying them but if there isn't local support a shortline wouldn't be successful anyway. So like I have said before if there is a local issue you have to stand up and be counted.

As for having no second in command I think Brad has several he could count on, Boyd, Krawetz Chevelldayoff to name a few.

A lot better than the liberals had with Dionne and iggy.

Also still one of the best financial track records compared to any other province during his tenure.

And finally what big projects would you have the provincial government undertake when it was next to impossible to get labour for the last six years? They have spent a record amount on roads during that time trying to reverse Romanow's revenge.

Before you nitpick I know Cheveldayoff and Krawetz are taking reduced roles, but they played big roles in the past.
