musterdman, instead of constantly spewing out tabloid like allegations against the former gov., why don't you put out some verifiable facts? I find it amazing that only conservative style gov.are corrupt. ( according to you ) Do you believe that any of the current ndp gov. in canada are guilty of corruption?past or present?

How do you compare the millions involved with the sponsorship scandal and the Chrétien Liberals to the 90000 dollar cheque written by Harper's chief of staff to Senator Mike Duffy?

Since most of you are into name calling and not much for analysis, I might as well join the fun. the Harper, Ford, reform, alliance along with trump and the tea party, show stupid and whiny is going mainstream. Mind you Trump takes it to new level.

So if I come on Agriville and I am unhappy with Nutley's proposed carbon tax and state that it will cost me 2000 dollars a year on diesel alone in 2017 that is whining? But if someone else comes on here and states that Harper's policies have allowed 3 or 4 corporations to control all the seeds in the world, that is ok? I would say that the increase in negative posts towards present and future government policy initiatives is because we think they are wrong! If your only method of debate is to call us whiners well than the debate won't go very far lol!

Trump is not tea party. That was hijacked a long time ago. Tea party was originally a libertarian movement but the left and right destroyed us a long time ago. Meaning if you are left wing or right wing you destroyed the libertarians good job I congratulate you on your victory.

Hamloc the extra 2000 you might pay for the carbon tax is much less than the premium paid for 100 dollar oil and its derivatives in the last number of years. So why are you so upset about a small tax when there are much more significant costs and issues affecting farmers?
$2000 would be an issue if you are a very small farm but most farmers will not notice it.

Libertarians want all the benefits of a civilized society but don't want to pay for it.
There are also some of those freeloading "freemen anti-taxers" around who think they are above the law, send their kids to public school, use the public health system, and drive on public roads but think they don't have to pay taxes. Not the brightest bunch to put it mildly.

If the answer to the economy was government we would all be speaking Russian. It doesn't work.

There are not many months left for the consequences of socialist/left wing and facist/right wing policy measures come home to roost.

It's only the libertarians who know how fiscal and political policy works. Unless you believe the greatest peace time credit market cycle has some sort of a magical ending

This extra $2000 tax for the average Albertan farmer is a major waste that will result in more government waste.
