    House cleaning time

Being from MB., i'm a bomber fan but i like the riders too. Are the roughies doing the right thing here? I think they are but mine is an un-informed opinion.

Can't believe that when the price of oil drops it effects the Riders contract negotiations. Tough times all over. Hope the don't go back to the way the things were in the eighties. Lol

Its going to be hard to recognize the Riders on the field next season.

I saw Dressler at SuperStore Regina East and asked him if he's staying with the Riders. ...he said he still has a contract with them. I guess the must have broke the contract. I wonder what that cost.

      Why dump Chick?

Someone with some insight or an opinion?

Crazy times, disappointing to see two of the best players on the team move on.

Dressler was at the Viterra booth yesterday at the crop production show, he said he was excited about the upcoming season.

We will see in the next few months what Jones has planned.

Six O'Clock news said it was for financial reasons. Something about bonuses coming soon as well....

Chick was fun to watch...spinning off and swimming through defenders with those big arms.

Durant was fun to watch.... sacking him was like knocking over a brick shit house.

Sheets was fun to watch....stutter stepping and bouncing off defenders

Messam.... when he got going it was like stopping a loaded freight train.

Brackenridge.... comes fliying in from up field and like getting hit by a cannon ball.

I guess its time to move on.....

            Go Riders.....

Anyone close to Regina listen to 104.9 The Wolf, one of the radio personalities does a short recorded commentary, usually after games called "The Token Rider Fan"(could be, could just be a pun in there). Too dumb, whether they win, or lose. But maybe you need a warped sense of humor like I do to enjoy it.

furrow, Jones said they shopped both players throughout the league and there wasn't one team interested in either player with the costly contracts they have. Sounds like Hamilton is interested in Chick and Winnipeg in Dressler(Winnipeg is closer to #7's home town in ND.) but they will likely have their pay renegotiated.
As a rider fan it's sad to see such good players both on and off the field go, but they are both getting older and slower.

A Shame were losing such quality players .(couldn't believe Brackenridge now these two!!)
So why can we not build around guys like this.
Whoever gets them will get guys who give it all Every time they they're on the field
I have feeling these decisions will come back to bite us

So they let them go to make room in salary cap for 4 new guys that 2 of them will turn out.But the 2 that turn out the new coach can take full credit for bringing them in.

Maybe they can save enough to buy their new open air stadium?

Saskatchewan and Winnipeg, the only two teams that are community owned. Makes it tough with a salary cap, for a community owned team to offer houses, vehicles and other perks. Maybe one of you rich farmers out there should buy the team.!

Maybe they should make it privately owned. Then watch the freebies come out.

Look at the owner of the Oilers on edmonton.

His money isn't being made by owning the Oilers....its fleecing the taxpayers of edmonton.
