Well then the conservatives should come out in the open and say that the reason Steve was such an ass was that he knew that after making western Canada a one industry area. An industry that when it peaks the way it was set up everyone not in that industry pays for it. When it tanks everyone else pays for it. HMMMM
As I said many times you get a nutball extreme right or extreme one industry or extreme anything you will get an extreme nutball the other way. This is what we have. one caused the other.

The country needs someone to lead for the good of all people all regions all industries. And in that regard someone sort of like Trump who isn't a puppet. However the entire three parties liberal ndp and conservative are owned bought and paid by their interest groups. So a true independent Trump will never happen in Canada unless one of those parties comes clean, cleans the house or a new party starts.

The USA may elect Trump on the idea of not being bought but he has a poor way of dealing with people or maybe not maybe he s just being honest on every issue and not politically correct. At least we know what he is thinking or at least most of it.

I agree that the posters should pause and take a breath. There isn't another election for 4 years, so take some time to find decent candidates to run in a leadership race. I don't think there is a rush. Rona Ambrose is doing a decent job as interim leader which should allow time to do a search.

I am not crazy about the idea of Oleary any more than I was about Dion and Ignatiaff.
