    Invigor LR 250

Just heard about this new canola on which you can use either liberty or round up. One of Invigor's claim to fame was herbicide rotation, this changes that. Probably old news just wondered what everybody thinks?

It's probably a half bag of each and you pick the herbicide.

2.5 per acre pounds probably grows a good enough crop.

I told those proud plant breeders, at their fancy greenhouse opening 3 years ago, that it was a stupid idea. Why the hell would you willingly put that weed on your land. There is a reason we grow Liberty canola. And it's not because Liberty is good weed killer. It's because Roundup is a good canola killer.

This is a marketing play.... as I said the other day, first they have to sell you the problem so later they can sell you the solution. What practical use does this product have? Do you really need the "option" of which herbicide you want to use, on the same crop? Pick a system!!! Now you have Liberty canola that won't be controlled with glyphosate!! No new chemistry to help with resistance issues either. Why?

          http://www.cropscience.bayer.ca/en/News/2016/InVigor-Choice.aspx

It HAS to be worth more....by what, $2.00/lb.?(assumption)
That's right, keep showing them you're willing to keep paying more. This is for people who have to be the first to have the newest and best (lol) of everything, no matter what the cost. Like there isn't enough glyphosate used already, maybe Bayer would have been better off improving Liberty herbicide, now that would have provided some real value.

It looks like this is about protecting Invigor market share
            and tight canola rotations.

Are any of my comments out of context or invalid?

They are providing the farmer the benefits of stacked herbicide tolerant traits.
I think SF3 said its only $4.00/ acre to tank mix spray it out post harvest. If your out there spraying anyway , add a little more and it will also get stinkweed, pigweed, buckwheat, cleavers and you will have good clean canola stubble for canola next year.
                      Its all about the benefit.
