bto, Y ewez leevin out sven oh hate for oh tree in ewer forkast? r u prehjust?

some of the best crops we ever grew were seeded corner to corner in dry conditions with some timely rains.

Did you ever buy any of the slummer land in Sascratchtawin? Most of the land here isn't even good for cows. Hell rattlesnakes and cactus don't even like it here. Moonscape...

I'm loving this weather almost hate to leave. We are one spring rain away from water issues,, so till I'm seeding the droughts not over. Maybe we're just getting back to normal.
          Thank god.
          Aloha.

Agree with SF3. We are wet. we don't need a drop till after seeding, any rain before and we will be in a unseedable acre situation.

Also will need an open spring so we can get all the ruts cleaned up and fields into decent shape again....

In laws out west are worried.... Man is it dry down in Cabri/Abbey/Lancer area.

It is shaping up to be a year that divides the grain guys and the cattle guys. Now that Iam out of cattle kinda hope it stays this way and try to get back some more low ground. However alot of times when we had winters like this was always hoping for that foot to foot and a half of wet sloppy shit in end of March to cover that hay and pasture land. Seems like no matter how wet the year before hayland always needed that big soaker in the spring to get a good start. Good luck to all.

Heard a guy from Maple Creek said in December no frost and too wet to feed in the fields. We also froze in wet. Do not let the lack of snow fool you.

this is a great winter, I love sleding but with haul it to snow. Here in the south east you can darn near hit water any place you dig. The soil is still near saturation point. we need a dry spring.

Moisture situation is no hell here. Sure we've had some decent late rains and our snow cover in our pocket of heaven is better than west of us in Alberta, but it all hinges on that April moisture event or that drought breaker in June. Have gotten in the habit of leaving a couple quarters for spring grazing just because of the ongoing threat of moisture stress in spring. You adapt. Last 12 years has been decent for moisture. Previous to that we dried out a couple times and never combined anything one of those years. So I imagine we're due for another cycle of crap.
