The whole bonus system, profit sharing concept is flawed! Each at a different end of the spectrum.

We all here of the bonuses paid to corporate executives. Many public companies, corporate exchange types.

What companies are good examples of profit sharing models?

Ipsco was a great example of a successful profit sharing plan until it was sold.

Well that's when guys cashed out.

I know of guys that had shares that started at 16 bucks to be worth 160 when they sold. And they had a few good quarters between the start of the plan and the end.

        Diluting shareholder values?

Cash bonus vs share participation, slightly different. Not all employees participate in the shares, they can't afford and live pay check to pay check.

Wonder how the employees feel now and if they give less because they receive less?

The sale was made for shareholders and maximization of value, it's the directors duty.

Now that the economy has shifted the new owners will have a tougher time returning value to shareholders

Right after 41 hospitals closed, certainly needed way less nurses.
