I always felt that harpo and the ritz wanted the farmers of the west to be more like the American farmer. Taking away the CWB put us on the same level as the farmers south of the line. Why we couldn't have kept our own way of marketing our product thou out the world is an other story. The yanks fought against the CWB for many years and lost the fight a dozen times, saying it was a illegal subsidy to the Canadian farmer. Why we couldn't have our own marketing system and not be like the Americans all the time. If you think they are better off then move there!!
