Ice. Investors and buying and investors are selling. I do know that HCI sold a bunch of land in this deal...not sure if it was all HCI land

So I am dumb? Thanks, appreciate it. I would love to see a "smart" guy, come into our area covered with smaller than average farms, young farmers galore, and buy land. If it ain't available, you can't buy it. So then you proceed in a fashion that can offset the lack of land. You diversify and use your land better.

              Dumb idea, huh?

Rumor is large Vancouver based investment group sold out. 2 large blocks of land some down by Wilcox and some a little north. Land is all rented by local producers apparently. Who is Garrys right hand man anyways. Never heard of him

If you have no emotional or historical ties and if you got a double or even a triple on your hands way not take a little off the table in this environment?

Cash will be king again and I'm sure these companies are getting calls about redemptions.

It looks to me like the producer may end up holding the bag on this one tho. Which may make the future look interesting

lol! I thought you were kinder than that. No one is buying up the land. The land is all tied up. Unless someone dies, it will remain tied up...

I would like to offer some food for thought... but if your mind had to survive on sustenance I provided in the past, it would have starved to death a long time ago... here it goes anyway.

So, even the investors are cashing their chips in... just like they saw the opportunity in Sask land as an investment a while ago, they may also be seeing this as the time to get out...

Always late to the party, may be as bad as staying to the end...

                            1980's here we come?

We have a whole generation of young people who think things don't/can't/won't go bad.
