Trump got to be rich taking advantage if people now saying he's wanting to do something for everyone when it is his own pockets getting empty just like when a farmer or anyone else other than oil their markets disappear? Now he wants to prop up jobs to a market that isn't there and who knows if ever will be? Notley and the carbon gang are off the wall but they didn't create this mess where the country is a basket case unless only if the oil industry where we put too much resources and over built keeps pumping oil and we all pay such a high price for it that no other industries or technologies will ever develop here? We will be the new Middle East all this oil and capacity and no money for it.

Need leaders that understand we need to be less concentrated on oil and in fact encourage the low price and start building the country with cheap oil not expensive.

Hopefully the West, and more than likely SK, as no other provincial leader has balls anymore, will avoid this decision entirely and finally call off the relationship. I read an interesting article the other day about NewBrunswick needing more temporary foreign workers. They can't find enough staff to work in the lobster processing plants. Unemployment is between 8 and 9 % but Canadians won't do the work. Consequently some lobster is just thrown out.

What does this have to do with this thread you ask? My take on what Kevin O'Leary was talking about was excessive government spending provincially and federally. The Ontario liberals have added 150 billion since taking power with no plan to pay it back. Harper added 150 billion but did mange to come back to balance. Alberta is going to add debt like no tomorrow. Justin Trudeau is planning to spend big as well. But the reason I brought up NewBrunswick is that many of them worked in Fort Mac but are now unemployed. But the 12 or 13 dollar an hour lobster plant job doesn't appeal to them. So my question for you Riders is this, I agree low oil is here for a while and the Canadian oil industry will never employ as many people as it did, what do we diversify into? Are you like our Alberta premier who believes if we import a bunch of Chinese solar panels, use government money to subsidize their installation than our future will be great. This might employ 1 or 2 thousand people. We have lost over 100000 jobs just in Alberta and all our governments are doing is going farther in debt and saying lets diversify, but there are no real answers!! Have a good day:-)

Biggest myth out there is spraying is all of a sudden hard.
