Personally a big fan of Brad Wall. Now I don't live in Saskatchewan so I can only base it on what I hear and see. He is the only premier standing up for the energy industry. I see a country run by progressive governments piling up debt, new taxes and no real plan for replacing energy revenues. Mustardman, I appreciate we all have an allegiance to an ideology my allegiance is simply much different than yours. Enjoy your evening:-)

Those who speak through their ideology are always right in their own mind. Our increasing socialism is more evident all the time.
Trumps biggest appeal apparently, is that he is not a career politician. Joe lunchbox doesnt feel better off after Obama. They see a rich guy and want it. Trump can say what he wants because its his money.
Right or wrong we only have one voice of reason/dissent up here right now. Brad Wall

If your oil or little oil puppet Wally's friend your pockets will always be full. He s only here because oil bought off the provincial liberals and put the puppet in to mask the reform party. He s an opportunist of a situation where there is no opposition.
Where is all the money from 100 oil? In friends of oil and puppet Wally's pockets.
Never have the people been used and taken as such fools. Ndp were horrible but at least you knew what they were.
Biggest con job in canadian history has everyone not in oil convinced it s a good thing they pay the cost of oil while the friends fill their pockets.

i do not think he is too out of hand.
some things should be said.
smooth and smart for a Conservative
leader .
maybe partly he is trying to deflect attention from the scandal.
if the corruption is this bad now think what another term will do.
all in all for a Conservative he has not been that bad, even turned into a socialist for a while when he interfered
in the potash buy out.
to save our royalties . good man
maybe he does care about the province
as far as you guys and your immaculate conception story how the con.s saved sask.
not one of you will quote one piece of legislation that created the boom.
i guess if you say something often enough, people believe it.
kinda like religion
it was the resource boom boys.
pure and simple .
and you can thank fiscally responsible NDPers for fixing the last con . debt .
tell your selves what you want . if you use your logic then the same Conservative plan ran Alberta off the cliff. explain that one !
i sincerely hope that if the sask. party wins another term . that in the end , they do not have to change their name again , because they were so bad .
liberal to Conservative to Sask. party ,( running out of names)
what's the saying "same shit different pile ".
get the feeling it will be tough for any govt. to navigate the next 5 years.
esp. the Alberta govt.
poor buggers.
there is going to be a lot of hurt , and sadly a lot will blow back on the govt.

What I don't get is do some of you not remember the Dark years of the NDP. We were the Shit show of the country. Yea oil topped but we have so much more than most other provinces and the NDP held us back.
Look again at Manitoba under the NDP highest per capita debt and some of you with slumping oil are worried about what $427 million. Really. What is the NDP going to give Alberta a couple Billion is the tank.
Trudeau will have us a extra $150 Billion time he is done.
So one guy is standing up for our province, western Canada and Oil and farming. Hm yea he is a bad guy.
F%^K Me get a life. NDP work for the Big Unions and its all about follow the Money.

Just look at population numbers when conservatives are in vs the commies. That should be all you need to know. Business friendly governments increase the tax base by population growth. The taxers, the ndp, ALWAYS suffered stagnancy in population. And they liked it that way, it ensured their re-election if forward thinkers did not move back to sask. Which is kind of sick, really.
Brad had written a paper on growing our province by 100 000 people, way before he even was party leader. Well, guess what. The ndp scoffed. And then? It happened, and it drives the ndp crazy, because they lost ten% of their potential vote, because Saskatchewans population grew.

You hit it on the nose freewheat- "business friendly enviroment" Sask. developed their oil industry, while mb. has a tiny oil patch that should be a lot bigger, the ndp have no interest in letting anything develop in mb. because they don't like to see a company make money. How about potash, sask has world class potash co. and potash mines right against the mb. border, i find it hard to believe that the potash stops right at the border. How come mb. ndp haven't looked at letting someone develop mb. potash? Two of the ndp's favourite pets ( health care and education ) mb. has the highest paid teachers in the country, yet our schools test scores are the lowest in the country! And the waiting times etc. for health care here are unrealistic, lots of administration jobs but shortage of nurses. 19 years of ndp socialist gov. has pretty much done us in. Some say the conservatives spend money? well the ndp spend more! ( waste more )

Just read on CBC website that if the premiers at the first ministers meetings can't agree on carbon pricing a price on carbon will be set by selfie prime. It is interesting that the same posters that yelled against Harper also yell against Wall. Now we have the spendy Liberals, can't see that it was a step up, so be careful what you wish for!!
