At least he better than his mentor

Grant Devine governed in tough times and had 8 straight deficits and racked up a lot of Debt

Brad Wall governed thru Record resource boom and had 5 deficits out of 9 and also added more debt

    Don't compare Devine to Wall.

Devine did some good things of which will never be attempted again.

    1. Two heavy oil upgrades
    2. Rafferty alemeda dams
    3. Saskferco
    4. Made sure agriculture wasn't forgotten. He would be all over the canola dockage scam.

What's Wall done for future generations?

Attempted to build a ring road?

I have to agree . The biggest difference too is the dry lean years that Devine governed in versus the opposite for this govt.

Don't even dare put Devine in the same breath as this muppet puppet, somebody take those coke bottle glasses off and clean them up too much shit from the oil industry ass smearing things up.

Devine was the one true leader that actually gave a dam about rural Saskatchewan, and wasn't an ass to the rest of the country. Wally the muppet puppet must be reading Stevie wonderless memoirs on how to effectively isolate yourself, maybe stop trying to score political points wally and do something for someone other than china oil.

the thing that confuses me , is if wall is do bad , why are we the envy of Canada ? why does everyone want him to run for pm? why is everyone moving back here ? why did everyone leave here during the dictatorship ? why is the pop. of sask at an all time high ? anyone that thinks that the oilpatch would of been as busy in sask with an NDP govt is dreaming . what about all the highways built in the last 10 years . we had none left here at the end of the dictatorship . couldn't even drive a car on some highways

In 2007 with NDP in power SK debt was 7.2 billion.
            Today it is 5.334 billion.

Left wing math = Brad Wall added more debt.

I always thought Grant was the right man, but at the wrong time. A wise old coot he is.

Yes he started out paying down debt that by the way was a carryover from Grant.
But last year he claimed to have a balanced budget by Borrowing $700 million

First of all comparing anyone to the former NDP is like saying Trump is a nicer guy than Putin, everyone is nicer than putin.

To have that many years of 100 oil and look at the shit mess we are in now? Its pathetic that more debt didn't get paid down or more infrastructure repaired or new technologies processing manufacturing didn t go etc. Where did all the money go????

But then again the oil model is flawed in that all you get with the oil model is people in that industry get wealthy everyone else pays a higher cost for everything, crime goes up, so pleased to have terrorist driving water trucks to increase the population woo hoo, Oil has driven the cost of all industries up including farming. Its a disaster.

Secondary processing and technology will never go ahead when you have an economy based on high oil that pays any idiot double what they are worth.

                    Well said.

And look next door at Manitoba to see what a NDP government did over the same years.......their debt levels increased at an alarming rate.

While Saskatchewan lowered debt.....Manitoba had other ideas.
