    SF3,

Do you think you'd have a drought problem there?

Was having a couple beers with my neighbour the other day... he pulled out his old record book... years gone past 1 to 2 inches of rain in the growing season but huge spring moisture (fall rain... snow... spring rain...) and grew very nice crops on that.

Our soil here is completely saturated. Was digging a burning pit with the trackhoe about 14' deep by morning there was 3' of water in it. Frost only about a foot down and it's very soft compared to other years.

No not even close! But just watching the winter storms were wet as all. South valley nothing! Dugouts full from runoff and water sitting!

In 2000 it was a dry winter here . One huge dump of wet heavy snow that came around the 20th of April grew a good crop for many west of here with very limited summer rain . Agree , anything can happen yet between now and seeding .
We could have well above runoff here if these spring storms keep going through. Still solid white here with good snowmobile conditions. Moisture in the snow we have is very high now, had a good 1/2 in rain / snow again last night. Soil profile is full from last fall
