Case ih people moved Because we had Oil and potash (and lowest royalties) and Commodity prices were at All time HIGhs.

You could have had the high school SRC run the govt and we'd have the same result.( although they mite not have SPENT as much as this lot)

Brad wall lives about 40 minutes from hodgeville.

His government traded off a 10000 tonne concrete and rail line for a 100 million dollar infrastructure bill.

      He did SFA.

In the last week what I have seen for infrastructure and the process they are using ... its little wonder this government is in debt and it's easier to see why costs escalated on the bypass.

Even some highway union workers shake their head. But they do as they are told.

As an Albertan this is how I would answe the question about Brad Wall. I would say he gives you hope. You probably all spit up your coffee laughing.. I have been under an NDP government for less than a year. I see an urban based party which despises farmers. Thinks that every problem can be solved with another tax, another regulation, another government employee. As far as I can see socialists hate wealthy people. With Wall there is hope that financial and business success will be celebrated and not taxed out of existence. Riders I try not to focus on individuals, but I hope someday you negatives turn positive. Have a good day:-)

Bingo Hamloc that's what life was like in the NDP years.
Yesterday one NDP candidate told what most NDP supporters think about farmers.
          "Farmers are Stupid"

          Never again.

I don't much care for wealthy people coming to the trough on government backed land flips.

Two guys made 11 million doing nothing.

            Government funded.

Highways could have expropriated for 1.9 million.

It cost the taxpayer 21 million.

            One deal.

And when brad wall does nothing about poor rail service this year and keeps paying highway bills as a result he isn't really bringing hope.

The reality of the matter is that taxes are going up under a wall government.

              He has no choice.

Bucket what has Selfie Prime done about poor rail service? The only way he would care was if the railway was required to transport refugees!

I believe railways fall under federal regulation. I have been around over half a century and one thing is consistent, complaints of poor rail service.

Bucket, I think we have beat this topic to death but railways are a federal responsibility.

Also it was the farmers in and around Hodgeville and Vanguard that should have supported the elevators and pulse plants to make their operation viable. They have no one to blame but themselves.

                    Use it or lose it.

Viterra and the railways decided not to use hodgeville not the farmers.

Same is happening in other places.

Railways don't deliver or graincos don't ask for cars and the system falls behind.

                        Becomes an unreliable point.

Or the farmer finally asks to deliver to moose jaw. Viterra is thrilled.

Government at any level never gets involved for an individual request.

So the excuses are all there to blame the farmer when in fact the government should have looked at their costs.

                        Cause and effect.

Now find me a new roll of tinfoil.

How the **** can it be a federal responsibility when the province ends up with the highway bill?

Next when everything is ****ed you guys will say it's the municipalities responsibility to fix all highways turned back to gravel.

If Wally stood up for farmers as much as the oil puppet masters we wouldn't have all these problems that are getting worse. 2 standards with wally the wienie one for oil people and another for everyone else. Welfare for oil and farmers just let the rail co, grain co, chineese, pakis you name it own it and in fact its working out best for everyone foreign and the bay steet boys to own land as the oil men have all access easier. Wall is puppet.

Sask wheat pool elevator in hodgeville should never have been built there in the first place. Dead end rail line, secondary garbage highway since the 1970's and built in a swamp which created operational problems at the elevator from the get go. Much more suitable locations were suggested when it was built but the realty was the SWP delegate at the time from that area seemed to carry a lot of wait with the organization and did not want to listen to reason and the rest is history The rail line retention committee which involved all the surrounding municipalities explored every plausible scenario that might be economically viable to retain the rail line from Mossbank to Hodgeville and found inadequate support from local producers. What is a reasonable amount of resources to dump on a white elephant
