I gave to argue this one out with you sf3.

Gardiner dam terminal (gdt) is at the end of the line.

Roughly the same distance as hodgeville back to moose jaw.

They ship 112 out of gdt pretty regularly.

Hodgeville could have done the same thing.

So sask farmer when you complained about
Railway screwup costing us millions different from inland price to port.
No transparency in price most crops.
Ag programs only working for Bay Street bankruptcies and chineese land companies
      Saudis owning grain facilities
      Giving away cwb assets
Seed companies controlling seed putting farmers in jail.
Reclassifying wheat to suit grain co
      Shutting down of terminals
Only certain grains bought at certain terminals farmers having to haul drastically further
No competition buying or selling grain
      Young farmers competing with china???
      Triffid costing farmers
      Ineffective crop insurance.

And what's going to happen when Wally gets his high oil? Dollar goes up price of grain down. Interest rates up. Inflated oil workers pushing cost of business for everyone else here through roof.

We cannot be a one trick pony show as Wally wants us to be.

Hiw can you not see the goal of Wally and the muppets is not anything for farm families.

And finally and forever I did. Not say the ndp are good or the answer. I know nothing about the new ndp I haven't heard them answer any of these questions either. And sask farmer you keep going back in time. If we all lived back in time we d be bigger hillbillies than we are now open your mind and maybe expect better from your beloved weenie as if you don't expect better you will never get better. Perhaps the sask conservatives as I see that they actually have seen theaw problems.

There are alot of areas that this government dropped the ball on.

They sure liked making R&D announcements with no logistical plan to move higher production.

        No vision.

It was just as illegal to sell brown bag seed under upov 78 as upov 91. Upov 91 does widen the net of who can be prosecuted and I am not a fan of it. Also federal jurisdiction. Fertilizer companies are just as guilty of price gouging as seed companies and the price of natural gas is as low as it has ever been. Is that Brad Walls fault as well?

If brad wall can tell BHP no sale to potash corp then I guess he could get involved on behalf of a strategic resource like agriculture.

How about we just call it a job creator like paying for abandoned oil wells?

            Follow the tin foil logic?

The NDP is dead in rural Sask for obvious reasons. (Highways, hospitals, property taxes, etc.)
Looking at Alberta or Manitoba will get you the scary scene that another socialist government will bring.

It's just unfortunate that the NDP still has no respect for the 27 rural seats and haven't learned their lesson.

the NDP drove all the young people away for the whole dictatorship. everyone one here that lives in sask has a close friend or kid that left . but lots came back in the last few years . I am grateful for that , my kids live in sask and are happy and thriving . when I finished school i headed for alta 4 days after grad . there was sfa to do here. and had to stay there until grant told us it was safe to come back . you would of have to lived here through the dictatorships to understand . NDP hate rural sask and especially farmers . they aren't even trying to hide it now ? maybe they think calling farmers stupid will gain votes in the city , who the f$&k knows ????

As an Albertan it seems to me Saskatchewan has a plethora of crown corporations, I personally find lack of market signals and competition makes these inefficient, could be wrong. Also all Union employees makes them more expensive. I remember going to a motocross race in Regina in 1997 and I couldn't figure out why everybody drove down the center of the road. After a while it became painfully obvious. It seems from my vantage point the oil business took off after the NDP was gone. Also if the NDP was so great how come so many young people came west for work. Horse would you like me to continue?

Hamloc I'll compare utilities prices any day compared to Alberta ,I'm pretty sure ours are less

As far as oil ,Sask kept their royalties higher than Alberta until Lorne Calvert dropped the rates in around 2005 and then the boom started.

We gave our resources away so of course your kids came west,do you think it realy would have been better if our provinces had got into a biding war to see who would give most to multinationals?
So why are your kids coming back, no work in alta or sask,so whose fault is that , cant be nds as you have cons.
At least you dont have as many orphan wells as we do and you still have a lot of your oil to sell. All our cheap oil is gone .
