    Provinciial Election Issues 2016

    Let's get this ball rolling.
    For me today:
    1. The debt incurred by a stadium that just got renoed a couple of years ago.
    2. The indifference to agricultural problems.
    3. The ring road project and the hiring of an outside construction firm.
    4. The policies regarding expropriation.
    5. Donna Harpauer's Social Services questionable practices.

Keep my property taxes low or lower.
Put more $ into highway department, eliminate the union wherever possible to gain efficiency.
Be a strong representative for Saskatchewan and say NO to a carbon tax when dealing with PM Selfie.
Be a proponent of oil pipelines, oil/LNG need to get to the coast.
Hold CN/CP feet to the fire, argue for more competition. (National issue but provincial voice is influential)
Crop Insurance seems to have good coverage for most crops (other than malt barley).
    Keep Agri-Invest. (National/Provincial)
Take the Agri-Stability budget and add it to Agri-Invest or Crop Insurance. (National/Provincial)

We now have a weak national leader travelling around taking selfies so this is a time for the SaskParty to be aggressive and outspoken.

      1. Brad wall shitcanned the BHP deal for potash as a strategic resource. Not a peep about Chinese canola dockage that sent the market down.

      2. Brad wall cleaning up the moose jaw hospital mess with the hyperbaric chamber but won't fire the CEO of the district for her incompetence.

      3. Complete lack of support for ag issues. CP just won the appeal on their fine. They spent more on lawyers than the fine. The railways haven't shipped a million tonnes a week for weeks. Pretty quiet from the provincial government.

      4. No one calling for a costing review of rail costs.

      5. No vision. Saskatchewan has nothing to show for a boom and less for the future. Thanks to Devine for building the infrastructure that allowed some of the last boom to happen.

Grant Devine is still alive. Maybe he'll run for leader.

Devine probably knows most of the pitfalls of a bust economy.

He might be qualified for the job.

He should be able to recognize the shiesters that show up for government funding.

At the very least Wall should have fired some of his ministers.

I don't listen to cbc, but in this case they're right! Cam Broten didn't fire Wilson for his remarks calling farmers "stupid",,,it wasn't till more of his comments regarding violent and sexual acts towards women that Broten finally saw fit to cut him loose.

Broten didn't think his comments of "stupid farmers" warranted Wilsons firing, that says plenty right there!

I drive every day past the new bypass.
If it was built in the Good old days by the Useless Department of Holidays under the NDP years. They would still be pounding flags in the ground.
These guys hire 28 Saskatchewan companies have their shit together. Building all winter in Canada. Ripper on cats and trucks and loaders and go.
Under the NDP they would have leaked the route to NDP friends who years ahead would have decided its time to farm and buy up the land then these same would get the big dollars for the property.
Then funnel money time and workers back to the NDP.

                  General hospital all over again.

                  Never ever trust a NDP.

I think the reeve of sherwood got the inside track on the route. Isn't that why the government appointed new management in the rm?

Sounds like he made some good money flipping land?

Bucket. That kerfuffle was not about the bypass, but about that silly mini city they were pushing to build south east of Regina. Some of the Reeve's land was in the midst of it. I always shake my head at the situation in that "rm". Everyone on council is sitting on millions of dollars of land. But they are making decisions on pretty important stuff...

                          4 down to early Retirement.

NDP do a fine job to find excellent people to run for them.

                          Week one NDP lost.

Yes the Reeve wanted White city 2.0 on his land by the bypass.

Then the reeve should have built it with his money.

He would be visiting with trump by now. Billionaire.

Things cost more for public infrastructure because of the shit deals that the backroom middlemen of the party have to make a few bucks off the taxpayers.

And it doesn't matter what party is in.

By the way.... I am a stupid farmer ... just read some of my posts on agriville.

Just imagine if I was running. Wouldn't have made it 2 minutes it the campaign and been turfed.
