Just wondering about wireless blockage monitors for air drills? Any recommendations?

I wouldn't buy them and save a lot of time, money and frustration.

Intelligent ag's system works pretty slick, uses an ipad as a screen. My only complaint is their sensor plates that are positioned 45 degrees to the product. Might be hard on peas and can catch up on chaff n sticks. Im only running sensors on ouside three shanks on each side and a couple in the middle of drill. When everything is working as it should all sensors read within 2 percent of the avg, as soon as I plug any one run on the drill monitored or not those numbers will deviate. I wouldn't bother monitoring every run, just too much crap and cost.

Never could get the agtron to work. Sensors can be bad from new i heard. I also heard their wireless stuff is crap.

Tell you after seeding. Built our own.

Using vibration sensors on the outside of the runs... The idea is the seed rattling down the inside of the tube will stop if it's plugged. Don't know if it works or not but at 7 bucks a run it's a pretty cheap experiment.

Klause, wouldn't the tube shaking/moving cause the sensors to alarm? Is the product physically hitting the sensor to set up the vibration? Can you adjust the sensitivity?

It's a 3 dollar piezo sensor that picks up vibrations... and wire it in with a steel washer and a hose clamp...

Every vibration produces a different frequency. Software can isolate the frequency range of the grain / fert hitting the sides of the tubes

Will see how it ends up working once in the field...

Nice klause i like it attaches to outside of hose? I hate the inline sensors.
