Former Sask party mla challenges Boyd

Finally something interesting in this election. The overall results were done months ago. Wonder what statements Deerborn made to the authorities will be interesting.
Really I cant say guilty or not but might have been proper to step aside considering the level of controversy.
Of course Wall will be like Steve and not know anything. lol

Saw that on CTV news last night. The best part was at the end, when he said if he won the seat as an Independent, that the would likely sit with the Sask Party in the leg. haha

That's too funny! He totally undercut his independence.

Why didn't he atleast say he'd sit as a P.C. or a Liberal, or even a Social Credit.

Riders,,,Maybe he's running to split the anti Boyd vote! haha too funny!
    Conspiracy, conspiracy.

Here's another election tidbit I noticed. On CTV news they show the poll results for percentage of party support. Of course the Sask Party has a commanding lead but what I find odd is the PC party isn't even listed. They have , Sask Party, NDP, Libs and Greens but no PCs. Even though they have ads and ask us to support your PC candidate. They must have official party status? Yes? No?

At the very least, the Wall and the party exec should have asked him to step aside until the issue was resolved. But would that be a partial admission of guilt? To me it would have shown there is some integrity in the party and politics. Set an example already...

I could tolerate a profane politician over a corrupt one, anyday!

farma, I noticed the samething re the poll results and the P.C. party. I also noticed that the news anchors stated that the results were the same as last week, even though the S.Party was up 2 and the NDP was down 2 percent. The week prior, when the NDP were up 2 points the media, including CTV made plenty of hay about it.
          slimy bastards.

worried about a vote split ,i don't think so ,
you could split the Conservative/ Sask
( what ever the name now ) party vote 3 ways in this neck of the woods and still end up with Sask. party winning.
local boy , but i do not know him.
Maybe he is a Conservative with a conscience , what a concept.
                  just kidding
                  could not resist

Don't worry there are many in the riding that like the Brad Wall government but are upset with this stinky land deal.

Dearborn is exactly right with his thoughts on this.

NDP are a non factor in the riding.

There are six candidates running in the riding so he has an uphill battle to unseat Boyd, but it should send a message to all politicians to mind their p'sand q's.

                      I agree with Sawfly.
Most rural constituency (if they are like ours) You could have Dead Candidates run and They would Win !!

as long as they are conservative

This is also why they are having trouble getting Polling Station workers.
Rural constituencies are Coronations for the con MLA .
                        no election needed in rural.

We better not be seeing people come on here after the election and complain about their shittiest roads, hospitals, high costs for farmers that oil industry causes, drug problems oil brings, out of control land prices that kill young farmers, shitty crap insurance, agristability for crooks, phone and power rates for rural people is out of control, poor rail service, terminals not taking all grains, wheat grading fiasco, price fixing on grains.

The fact that it really appears their was if not legally fraud at least morally slime ball move on that land deal and there is no knock going back to free ride wally says volumes about how shitty the ndp are and and how low our expectations are for our government.

What I get from saskparty candidate is ..." I don't know" .... or " it will have to be discussed after the election"

                            No vision, no thinking.

                            I expect more.

I would bet nothing criminal can be proven. BUT...Probably something like I will give you a hot tip and if you make a few million you sell me your land for half price.
