Don't really like the FBC adds on this page, who let them on here?

They claim to make life less taxing but from i heard from some of you, they make life quite painful.

Never used them however unfortunately picked up the phone one time from their random calls. High sales pitch, especially about the audit protection. Not worried about an audit and if my accountant has to help me, not worried about his bill either.

Don't know how anyone could ever work with a group that has a different person coming to your door every year with the only goal to get next years fees because its commissioned at a high rate

Use a good adblocker then you never see any ads at all. Anywhere. Ever.

Ads are the revenue stream. Let the advertisers pay. No user fees here.

I briefly thought of a similar post. But the last time i mentioned a company name on here it got pulled. ( a while ago).
I agree their paying the bills. But as bad or worse than H&R Block for a business. What they do however is legal also. Im just astonished they keep getting enough customers.

Worked for these SOB's one winter 25 years ago. Biggest scam going. You never got paid until you collected a check for the next years "services". Work for hours on a file and then client decided to move on. Very high turnover of staff and only training is high pressure sales. They still owe me 4000$. Ask for it every time i get a call from them. Have this puke in my mouth feeling every time i see the ad on here. Not much makes me boil these days but right now i have this" 211 degrees no cardboard" feeling

The ads I sees on Agriville are Canterra, UFA, FMC/Autority.
(The ads pay the bills so a better alternative to user fees.)

As far as FBC goes I've been warned to never do business with them by a reliable person.

Same ads as Oliver, guessing only customers or if you searched FBC would see their ads. I am getting RV dealers lately.

Well I have definitely never searched or visited their website. Today its FBC and Shell and partner chemical

Very minute problem. I guess we must be having a hard time finding something to complain about. I have auditted many financial statements from many accounting firms. Let me tell you in my experience, they are not the worst.

I don't get any ads on my desktop with adblock but get FBC ads on my phone. Never been to their website or really any accounting sites. Better I suppose than the constant video autoplay ads from Dow earlier.

Only experience with FBC is when my parents decided to dump them in the early 90's. Seems that paying for next year only works when you don't want to quit them. My parents got a bill and told them that they paid last year for this year. Nope, you need to pay for this year now. Bastards got one more payment out of my folks. I'll never use them.

FBC is an interesting animal. High pressure sales, overworked under trained bookkeepers, and paying your accounting fees a year ahead. Have had them approach us several times about doing my books but found they're only interested in signing you up, no concrete explanations of their accounting practices. I liked the quote " We have this big computer program we put all your stuff in and it does all your taxes and ag programs." These guys sales pitches remind me a lot of the World Financial Group scam.
