FBC adds

Very minute problem. I guess we must be having a hard time finding something to complain about. I have auditted many financial statements from many accounting firms. Let me tell you in my experience, they are not the worst.

I don't get any ads on my desktop with adblock but get FBC ads on my phone. Never been to their website or really any accounting sites. Better I suppose than the constant video autoplay ads from Dow earlier.

Only experience with FBC is when my parents decided to dump them in the early 90's. Seems that paying for next year only works when you don't want to quit them. My parents got a bill and told them that they paid last year for this year. Nope, you need to pay for this year now. Bastards got one more payment out of my folks. I'll never use them.

FBC is an interesting animal. High pressure sales, overworked under trained bookkeepers, and paying your accounting fees a year ahead. Have had them approach us several times about doing my books but found they're only interested in signing you up, no concrete explanations of their accounting practices. I liked the quote " We have this big computer program we put all your stuff in and it does all your taxes and ag programs." These guys sales pitches remind me a lot of the World Financial Group scam.
