EI welfare to overpaid employees:
Jeeze, funny how our farm programs only cover the basics and don't care if farmer A spends $150/ac more than farmer B. Allowable expenses...
Shouldn't EI only cover the basics and the recipient should somehow be responsible for their own "lifestyle" expenses over and above basics?
It was almost too good and set a false sense of security. With the take-home some of those employees were making, you would think they should have a bit of a nest egg somewhere?
