There is a very good reason conservatives had to abandon their party and start a new one with a new name.

Those images of ex mlas being led out of the courthouse in handcuffs didn't help the pc brand. One of them was our mla. Asshole. We were stuck with an ndp mla then for 3 terms who's biggest concern was missing lunch and not having a car accident cause she couldn't drive a stick up a dead dogs ass. Just a party hack with no desire to listen. She would pull the crying trick out when people would corner her. It was awful. I never thought Romanow was a bad guy other than being an ndp. If we had someone like that in our constituency things may have been different but the brain trust of the party past their manifesto is vapid.

Twenty years of ****ing pain in manitoba. Filmon left us with some money and donkey doer pissed it all away along with his single parent protege Stalinger. Take from the rich and give to the immigrant that wanna blow u up. No future with those kinda people. Enjoy your time with Wall cuse I remember a time when Sask was the asshole between the 2 cheeks now look who has the assholes running there provinces. Hopefully the indians in our province take a chance on a new leader.

they both have been good and bad.
but to perpetuate the myth that the sask. boom had anything to do with who was in power at the time ignores logic.
if it didn't. where was devine's boom.
and why did Alberta drive off the cliff
with a Conservative govt.
as for having over paid liquor board employees.
assuming the govt. gets the same cut either way .
what is so horrible about having middle class family's in our towns and cities.
as compared to the Conservative plan
for min. wage jobs .locally and resultant profits going to sobeys and wall mart.

If liquor sales were remotely competitive with the rest of the world instead of an income source for the government I could see privatization being ok.
But the cost of alcohol isn't going down.
So its just a perk for the friends of the government to sell it off.

Purchase the Potash Mines. For 40 years they did nothing with them, just created gov jobs. Sold mines to Private and Wow created wealth. Yes potash is down but with a Civil servant running the gong show it did nothing.
Land Bank. That in it self should be the main pillar of NEVER AGAIN! I tried as a young man to buy farm land and had to bid against my own tax dollars at work the Government of Saskatchewan.
Then they gave the land back to individuals who were 99% NDP connected. Redistribute the Wealth.
Department of Holidays. Was a summer student on with them. I knew the local God Father! What a hard working bunch Enough said.
Unions sit on the NDP board of Directors. So this is the Cradle to Grave mentality. Tax paid employees give part of their check to Union in Dues then part to the NDP in Donations. To be used as pawns in controlling ruling governments or when NDP aren't in Power. But when its a run like we had in Saskatchewan it was fathers and sons and grand sons on the take. Cradle to grave.
Hope is maybe the word more people say when the NDP are out of power in a province. People come back. Jobs open up and life does change.
NDP its Unions workers Gov employees and then the taxpayers dead last.
NEVER AGAIN!

I think the timing of the NDP getting the boot and oil being good made a huge Investment opportunity that Sask lacked for any years.Housing farmland and oil exploration.I do think they got the best of the boom for our province. But now I think all the MLAs have their own agenda for personal gain.Maybe some politicians should be checked on a few years after leaving politics to see if they got any favours back from companies.

So sask's prosperity was just lucky timing for the sask. party? It had nothing to do with progressive business friendly policies? Wow! In that case mb. should have had an oil boom too ( instead of a small blip on the radar ) And where's mb.'s potash industry if it was gonna happen no matter who the gov. was? It's non-existent! Enbridge wanted to build windmills in southern mb., why did the mb. gov. put the kybosh on that? ( windmills got built one mile south of the u.s. border, all up and running ) get your heads out of the sand! Oh and thanks alta and ask. for the huge transfer pmts., without them mb. would be probably 60 billion in the hole instead of 36 billion.

Found the debate online yesterday and watched it
All I can say is I am very disappointed in our current premier and always thought the opposition was just a talking puppet
When they stand facing one another yapping non stop about two different topic is just totally child like. One talk, the other should listen and then have a chance to respond uninterupted.
Fire them both if you are going to act like that.
