Also the whole spin was on commercial honey bee colony numbers. Not native bee populations which is what people are concerned about. They go on and on and on about commercial colony stats to paint a wonderful picture of how the bee situation is in Canada. It's call spinning things. It's what the GMO crowd has done to create a tidal wave of support for their cause. And it is wrong!

Blind support of conventioanal ag doesn't help us eithe Tweety.

I didn't think the above had to be explained to you Tweety as it's glaringly obvious, but to the uneducated public that reads it, it sounds rather convincing that what General Mills is doing is wrong.

In their article in this paragraph they are upfront, unlike General Mills, that bee numbers of individual species are not counted:
"Native bee populations are much harder to track and there are real concerns about pollinator health, however the BringBacktheBees campaign doesn’t differentiate between honeybees and native bees. The missing Cheerios’ mascot leads us to think all bees are in big trouble. They’re not."

Have you read the article Lake? So i have to ask again, what has RealAgriculture said that is half truths and mud slinging?

The missing bee on a box of Cheerios leads you to believe that all bees are in trouble? That is laughable. Nice spin Tweety. You should write for RealAgriculture. Nothing like fear mongering.

Again, I ask you, what is the 3rd ingredient in Cheerios?

Or maybe you just need some time to spin your way out of being wrong. Take you time.

What a ridiculous response, but not unexpected.

Next time think it thru before you start another thread on defamation of a company you can't support.

What’s the main ingredient in Cheerios? Oats. Have there ever been GMO oats? No, but why let facts get in the way of advertising?

"Why let fact get in the way of advertising?" asks Real Agriculture.

Where or when have General Mills ever stated that there have ever been GMO oats?

Is Real Agriculture insinuating that General mills is being untruthful?

I don't believe this to be true, but somehow Real Agriculture has spun it to be true.

But lets jut loosely toss around the term defamation for effect, eh Tweety.

                        And dats the bitter truth!

Honey nut cheerios have honey and brown sugar.
They also list salt as an ingredient.
