    Ship surge easing

4 more due to leave Vancouver today

    How many incoming.

Out of 1.9 mmt floating space they reduced it by 200000 tonnes.

Maybe a medal in it for the graincos.

Railways have increased tonnage to 700000 tonnes weekly.

Should be back to a million a week since thunder bay is starting up.

They are going to have do better than that to keep up.

About 4 that haven't berthed yet and only one due before weekend. The rest are loading or partially loaded
Around 750000 per week till end of crop year should clean it up

So 52 weeks at an overall average of 650000 tonnes is a 34 mmt program.

I am not sure of total domestic use but do the numbers equate to crop size and carryover from statscan?

AAFC forecasting very low wheat carryout. Just my worthless opinion but I don't think it will get that low.
Carryover will be higher. First few weeks of the new crop year is mostly old crop moving too

So they have an opportunity to go into harvest fairly empty and don't take it?

Better to be plugged into new crop?

                It's true .... you can't fix stupid.

It's called flattening demand. Doesn't work at all for selling grain

Then why grow more for less?

Very low cost here. Can't see the need to strive for the last bushel. Working so far.

that mentality is displayed in canola , going for every last bushel . most won't grow hear ****seed for a $3 /bu prenium cause it yields a little less ? but you're still money ahead , easier on bins , bagger , etc . bu then can't tell everyone you got 60 bpa with invigor ! nexera same
