Farm, wife did a little thrive a while back, its not bad but its stupid in my mind, juicing takes out the fibre and got knows what else,i just use a blender.

Why do we crave bad stuff?Maybe not smart enough to know but we all want energy, food was always hard to get minus the past little while easy enough concept, but more complex our bodies are actually starving for nutrients.

Honey is a parodx and i have looked but don't know i suspect its good in moderation.

good topic, and how appropriate that it quickly shifted toward diet. As soon as you get a handle on the foods that are going into your body you've made a giant leap toward improving your health.

Dr. Ronda Patrick - brilliant women, and more knowledgeable about the science behind food and the human body then the food babe when compairing youtube food geeks . iv adopted a few of her recommendations. she's big on magnesium and folate through leafy greens and such, reduce that cancer risk if you've got that in the old gene bank. i did get into a few of the supplements but i think some have value. currently on probiotics, omega 3 fish oil, vitamin D, turmeric with bioperine (basically a powerful antioxidant that helps clear amyloid plaques that cause demetia). i witnessed a family member suffer from dementia- horrible thing.

DNA analysis is likely the future for optimizing diet. 23andme.com is becoming a big name for this sort of thing. The question you should ask is what are you prone to from a genetic prospective.

if you've got some of the northern european genetic heratage you may be more suited to a ketogenic diet then others. Im super interested in this diet but the getting into that metabolic state and managing ketone levels sound like a nightmare.

I apologize for what I had written. So I deleted the post. Though I disagree with cotton sometimes, he always sparks debate, and I apologize to him

Mallee, cotton. Dentist said you grind your teeth in your sleep. Do you get migraines? No. Do your ears ring? No. Well we need to build up teeth. Next day I wake up, wonder what's running? It's my ears.. Back I go. He grinds. Says therrrre. Nope. After a few months you either look for the ruger or just decide to ignore. 10 plus years and the only time I hear it now is like right now, just when it's mentioned but it is always the loudest thing in the room.

I bet most people on this website, an internet playground, are too thick skinned to be intimidated by name calling and assumptions made by others as to how we live and at what stage we are in our lives.....

Take care everyone! Friends, acquaintances, adversaries, like and unlike minded that may have never met in person but enjoy the digital interaction.

i don't know anything on this topic.
                no research.

but i do know a couple of things apply to me , i know is milk is not good
for me. gas feels like a heart attack.
                stomach pain , heart palpitation's

went to dr. for years. was on heart drugs (inderal) and then a donatol riopam that actually worked .

which actually lead me to the solution that it was actually my stomach causing them.

had episodes of 2 -5 - 30 minutes of heart
beating so fast you could hardly count.
                160 -200?
if i held my breath long enough,
hopefully i could get a giant ker thump
                and return to normal.

                you think your die ing.

                like the old TV shows
where the heart monitor beeps really fast then flatlines.

i quit milk , they quit.

the other one i noticed is kinda minor , like all dressed chips
or nuts and bolts , or barbq peanuts etc. not so much plain chips , i think it is either garlic powder or MSG.
the result is headaches and or nightmares.

                it just proves
you can doctor for years and still learn nothing.
took drugs for ten years, only to figure out milk was the cause.

All this 'advice' is pure speculation. My mother- in - law lives on cakes and sweets, puts whole cream and maple syrup on everything. She is skinny as a rail, and does not take one vitamin nor any medication, lives in her own home alone. She doesn't have a doctor and doesn't need one. She reads the Leader-post, National Post and Globe and Mail everyday and does every crossword. I think that may be her medicine. She believes that health is mostly mental.

Joey I am passing info along and what part of my financial info ten years ago saying land was going to go up did you not like?

Did I charge you a fee?

Do I not have the right to defend myself when attacked?

And why exactly can you and others not leave me and others alone?

What is so nefarious about talking diet and nutrition ?

Now is it me that has a problem or you guys?
