Grass so your a Reformer from Alberta that now lives in Manitoba who moved here from Europe.

Again if all you have to do is edit my threads your hired then I can say. Your Fired!

Please talk to people around you who have farmed a long time and ask them what is the wettest province. Manitoba they will all say.

But you keep being the Language police because that helps out with marketing.

        Have a great day.

Looks like the Montana systems may start hitting Sask.Dry areas are about to shrink.

The whole thread has been countering your sweeping assertions that areas that you know nothing about are wet when in fact they are dry and visa versa. As I said way back on page 2 you seemingly can't comprehend the intricacies of localized weather which leads to areas of Alberta having more annual precipitation that his area of SK, and areas of Manitoba having less. This was reinforced by the facts AlbertaFarmer5 presented.

And for the last time it would be "YOU'RE FIRED!" FFS.

Wow ! This thread went from a weather related topic to politics and lord knows what else! LOL. Anyhow , here where I live , SW Sask. , north of Maple Creek , heres what's happening weather wise: Seeding has started, the wind has been blowing almost non stop for 10-14 days, with a few calm days in between. This past winter in my area we had a little over a foot of snow , which came in about 4 weather patterns , which also came and melted each time. NO RUNOFF at all! The grass is wanting to grow , but a bit of rain would help. Gee what a shocker that is ! Last year in my area (Maple Creek to Golden Prairie ) the first good measurable rain was on June 5th @ 6/10s of rain. Our saving grace last year was 9 inches of rain at harvest time in 2014. This year we are working on 1 1/2 inches of fall rains from 2015, and hardly any snow. This year if we wait until June or July like Drew is forecasting , we won't be harvesting much. The game can change in a week around here, with some rain , but we will need it sooner rather than later. Over west of me in Medicine Hat are it is drier than here , which is only 60 miles. I will take sloughs any day and farm around them , compared to empty bins ! Yuo need water to recharge the water table, thats no joke.

How the tide turns. We fight wet year to year southwest fights dry year to year. Each have a few wet or dry years thrown in but weather patterns return to normal and then we begin to bitch and moan. Repeat

Nice rain here.Sask farmer will be sad to hear seeding conditions now in many more areas of Sask pretty much perfect.
