      Some guys will wait till May 1 , some the 10th.

        Last 5 years have been May 9th to 12th start for us. ( EC SASK) This year so far am thinking May 3th to 5th.

              Is a guy best to get the wheat in while there's still moisture and risk some frosts? If it keeps up here I think I could be going in a week or so.

                I'll never be ready for harvest by the last week July if I start seeding now.

                And I only like seeding the same field in spring once.

                Pulses and wheats probably would tolerate some spring frosts.

                Don't let science get in the way, rely on folklore, wive's tales and nature to guide you.

                    It's tough waiting for weeds to grow. Usually I start seeding may 27, finish in June sometimes June 10. One day fall frost will beat me up.
