    CAD

Punched through 78 cents with strength. 80 cents the next target. Major resistance there.

So one leg(Parts) of a three legged stool(Sales, Service and Parts) is supposed to support the whole business?

I suppose they can use the exchange rate as an excuse for the high parts prices too.

Kind of a catch 22, cheap CAD keeps our commodities competitive but sure makes buying anything in US dollars expensive. How can they justify the high prices when some of those pieces of equipment were manufactured with cheaper components before the spread widened. Let the stuff celebrate a birthday or two on the lots and we'll see how eager they are to move it.

USD dropping means commodities become cheaper in international/export terms. Check out the usd chart.

78.9 now. About 10 years ago the equilibrium level US to CDN was 86 cents, think that's where its headed.
