be carefull with organic !
only the apple,s are high protein, because worms in it !!! ha ha
yes no money in it and no controle !
never looks fresh in de store.
but if people believe in it pay dubbel the price the weed inspector may shut you down, some of our mesy neighbors farming. called organic!!!

Ag-boy, I suggest talking to your organic neighbor to describe some of your dislike of their dirty fields. Dirty fields only hurt the organic farmer in lower yields and higher dockage.
Most conventional farmers have a solid spraying program and are not affected buy organic farm weeds, if anything, it's good for a laugh and its visual confirmation that spraying works. You can have consolation in knowing that when the organic farmer fails, he will have to rent out or sell his land. It will go for cheap because it will have to be cleaned up.
Last summer a conventional farmer badgered the RM council about dirty organic fields in his neighbourhood. He was so insistent, they called in the independent weed inspector. The weed inspector did his job and paid a visit to some organic farmers and sent a pretty strong message. It was selective visits, I don't know why he didn't hit all the organic farmers in the RM.
Heading back to town, weed inspector sees leafy spurge in the ditch . He stops to inspect, there is a fair amount of leafy spurge. More driving and inspecting more leafy spurge. This needs to be dealt with. RM has to buy Tordon herbicide and hire a custom sprayer for the ditches. Gossip (not a fact) has it that it was a $22,000 expense plus annual observation and control program for leafy spurge. It worked out the weed guy solved 1 1/2 problems in one visit. I am thinking the inspector got sidetracked by the leafy spurge problem then forgot about visiting the other organic farmers.
