It doesn't surprise me that Duffy was not found guilty of anything. When there are no rules it is hard break them.
What came out in the trial was how little "senate business" there really is. They are paid $140000 per year plus generous expenses for almost nothing. The judge described Duffy as a hard working senator. An oxymoron if there ever was one.

Agreed Blue there are no rules, basically what the judge said was these expenses are somewhat bizarre and even outrageous but not illegal for two reasons the rules are that there are very little rules and 2nd the prime minister of Canada told you they were okey for his own benefit so I m not finding you responsible. I also think the judge realized if Duffy was convicted then the courts would be full of these things for decades upon decades because it is so widely spread abused. And that should be a major concern for all of us. Where is the plan or opportunity to change this?

As far as Harpers native accountability he has zero credibility until he becomes accountable himself.
Second the benefit of accountability for natives is not for us as much as for their own people and that is what has to occur. The people there need to see that yes a million was given for a water plant, so why wasn't it built? etc etc. You need to find a way to make those people connect those dots. and doing what Harper did which was close communication that could never happen the only thing that happened was resentment from both sides natives vs non natives.

Lots of things need accountability such as agristability. How is it that broad ass and one earth after only farming a year or two were able to get tens of millions of dollars out of those programs when as stated by apas you only get a payment if you are at 70% of 70% of coverage dur to the changes the conservatives and sask party agreed to? How do these people get averages to have those payouts and yet farm families have been around for decades do not qualify in disasterous years? There is no difference here than the natives all the amounts of who got the money and how should be posted publicly.

Wiseguy. You better send back your matching agri-invest deposits from taxpayers if you believe that everyone else rides for free!
