    Federal Budget

Part of the Pension Crisis we face thanks to negative interest rates destroying pension funds, then we have a temping pot of money government just cannot keep its hands out of. Governments are turning to “asset recycling” which includes even Canada. The federal government of Canada, for example, is looking at a potential source of cash they can rob to reduce the cost of government by shifting Canada’s mounting infrastructure costs to the private sector. They want to sell or lease stakes in major public assets such as highways, rail lines, and ports. In Canada, they sneaked in a line hidden in last month’s federal budget which reveals the Liberals are considering making public assets available to non-government investors, like public pension funds. They will sell the national infrastructure to pension funds robbing them of the cash they have to fund themselves. This latest trick is being called “asset recycling,” which is a system designed to raise money for governments. This idea is surfacing in Europe as well as the United States especially among strapped cash States.
Zirp forever is gonna bite real soon, the pensions need 8% return to function, add in the baby boomers pulling funds and this is gonna be the biggest wreck of our life. I have zero ambition to move ma and pa in with us to care for them in their golden years. I do find it interesting that Justine is gonna sell off the remaining assets, guess dumping the gold was the first indicator. These guys are gonna club us like baby seals for taxes to fund the agenda.

How much pension fund money has gone into land ownership? Think they can turn 8% on that investment? Maybe.

Imagine Canuckistan 30 yrs from now. The wealth is squandered and we have the living standards the Ukraine does now. We are past the point of no return and our fate is sealed.

I will agree with you. You know, Harper had already taken the political hit for changing retirement dates and such around the CPP, why wouldn't Turdeau just leave that alone.
All the blind, naïve, young voters that got on the "hate Harper" band wagon are certainly going to get a surprise about 10 years down the road, when Canada doesn't resemble anything, that, they always thought it was. They never asked how the debt will be serviced, even though that generation will be affected the most.
Tolls on bridges, tolls on the highways, tolls everyway you turn. A way to tax you, and a way to get you to reduce driving, to lessen carbon output, to suit their Liberal philosophy.

Often now you'll hear media people on TV or radio saying how good the economy is doing. Even people at the coffee shop or on the street. I like to say in return, "lets balance the ledger and see how good we're doing".
Example, obama fixed the US economy or the economy is doing so well under obama. I say pay back that 10,000,000,000,000.00 and see how good it's doing! The same goes for Turdeau's budget and econemy.

By far, too many people, don't think any of this debt ever has to be paid back, ever.

Well why would you attack seniors first? There is lots of businesses that want our resources and if they want them they should be paying for it accordingly. This bullshit that they won t pay more is just that bullshit the millionaires want to be bigger millionaires those are the people that need to be put in line and the reason all these fringe candidates are rising and eventually will oust the current political parties, and good thing it can be done by vote otherwise it would be done by violence.
