Reading on grainews this morning about the free trade negotiations and how agriculturals issues were being avoided for various reasons. One reason was Europeans desire to keep GMO foods and meet raised with artificial growth hormones out of Europe.
My question is this, is it not the same scientific community that evaluates GMO foods that evaluates climate change. Is climate change not supposed to be settled? Why can't the safety of GMO corn or canola be settled? Would think this would be much simpler. You have a seed once grown does not change. Easy to test. The climate on the other hand, is on a planet that has existed over 4 billion years. We have analyzed roughly 100 years of data and declared our verdict. What percentage is 100 of 4 billion? About the same as a handful of grain out of a loaded unit train.
Have a good day:-)
