I feel like I am in another country. Dry here in central Alberta and no rain in the forecast. One positive farming through some sloughs that haven't seen a seed in 10 years!!! Have a good day:-)

Looks just very cool and dry here with just a small chance of showers and a good chance of light frost every night from Monday till Friday

Ya, that's about it, their disclaimer! 2 inches would be a disaster for us, let alone 4! Even 1 inch will leave water standing everywhere, and hold us up for a few days, could live with .5-.75

Highs may only get to single digit by Wednesday

Which land will dry out quicker after a big rain, a unworked pea stubble field or standing wheat stubble field with low spots worked?

Are you sure you BTO's with the high rainfall amounts are not saying that the reason you receive more rain than the small acreages is only because you have more land for it to fall on? Just like crop yields (lol)

Looks promising for a good soak followed by an alfalfa freeze down here.

LOTO, (little old time operator) here, and 20" in summer of 2012 was on small acres but still hurting! Must be funnel effect. But others drain their higher lands just fine and it stays on LOTO.

You guys in the mud zone shouldn't really be direct seeding. That ground will never dry out and disease, root rot, funguses love that trash cover over cold wet muck. Just saying, get out the discers. Oh yeh, I forgot, they are in Kazakiatan now.
