And then they change their minds...science...yeah, trust the science...until it changes....
Know a number of "old generation"..quite often overweight, but eat real food, butter, cream, meat and potatoes....and seem to live well into their 80's, and for me, that's good enough.

FAO statistics say 80 percent of food supply comes directly from plants. Think this would include oilseed crops for margarine but not milk products. Would guess that dairy production is more efficient than most other forms of animal agriculture but only a guess.

Cholesterol ?you mean the stuff that is so important our bodies make it and how does it effect the brain?

Here is your medicine it's called a statin don't worry about the dementia ten years down the road and dont take the time to understand this stuff it's completely impossible to understand how the body works

We are living in the Stone Age when it comes to this stuff it is so GOD DAMN unbelievable

Eggs will kill you. One of the most perfect foods God gave us and several generations of people fell for it hook line and sinker

In this world there is a group of doctors pleading for the world to listen to them for the past thirty years and nothing but the sound of crickets coming back. Think about that. A group of very well educated men thirty years ahead of the curve

A nutritional CRISIS hiding in plain site

I wasn't going to bother but some may be interested and it's a story about a farmer so I guess it fits here. It's completely true story

So this young farmer in the states can't remember where heads to university in the sixties gets an ag degree then gets his veterinarian degree then works around the globe doing all sorts of vet stuff. By the sound of it the goal back then was to get commercial livestock up to speed in the health department makes sence economically. So basically these guys had free range and obviously they could experiment more with animals. So they ended up doing some fantastic things maybe not headline worthy because who cares if the lifespan and productivity of a chicken goes up other than if you happen to be a chicken farmer.

So anyways this guy starts wondering about humans so goes back to school becomes a human Doctor got nominated for a Nobel piece prize because he starts travelling around the world solving problems. Sues the fda eight times successfully, you read that right,

Starts a supplement company and the only strike against him is it a multi level marketing company but I'm starting to understand why he took this route

Perf, impossible for one article to explain the subject it's so complicated and I might be to dumb to ever get my head around it. Some people may spend there entire lives studying something like the endocrine system

I have seen more mixed products like this one instead of pure butter.

Food and health are a pretty complex topic with lots of politics attached.
Farmers have done an amazing job of increasing productivity which translates into inexpensive food...couple that to a sedentary lifestyle and you get the societal health problems.

Simple solution - everyone do a little more physical work each day...my Sunday advice.
Have a great day,
Joe

Trust a cow more than trusting Food Industry's Chemist

For years Giant food industry told us how bad butter and eggs were for you. When in fact it was the opposite

Mustard, it was never the "Giant Food Industry" that claimed eggs were bad for you. The following article explains the history of what happened fairly well.

Heart and Stroke Foundation

"Research from the 1970s reported that high-cholesterol foods, especially eggs, raise blood cholesterol levels. These early studies included foods that were rich in both cholesterol and saturated fat (such as butter), so scientists incorrectly believed that cholesterol was the main culprit. "

Forgot that farmer/Doctor is also considered the founder of epigenetics which some consider the future. Personally not sure on it
