Even one inch or so of heavy rain not good on canola that is just emerging and the longer it takes for soils to start to dry out, the worse it is.

We had canola hit with frost then two days later pounded with 1 1/2 in rain and hail , flattened like a steam roller . A few fields made it one did not .
That rain / hail happened in 20 min .
Canola is funny that way is seems so delicate at times and others it like a raging bull .
We had stuff buried 2 in deep . And our soil is rather on the heavy clay side where it happened.
You just never know wtf
