ID:	777196 Harry Siemens – When Jurgen Kohler, chair of the Manitoba BiPole Landowners Committee, MBLC heard that Manitoba Hydro and Fox Lake Cree Nation reached an agreement that will end the blockade on Provincial Road 290 near the Fox Lake Reserve, he had this response.

“Very interesting … what do we have to do to get the same respect,” he says when referring to how the contractors of Manitoba Hydro had treated landowners when building the Bipole III powerline across their fields.http://bit.ly/1TmpRR5

This looks more like a dispute between Man Hydro and the first nations.

It is good the farmers are standing up for their own farms...I doubt the hydro workers even think about what they could introduce to a farmer.

The key here is that the Man Hydro was quite to respond and settle with First Nations, but when the farmers made similar requests, they brought out the RCMP. This group of farmers wanted Hydro to meet with them to up dated Biosecurity, but Hydro says no dice - We talked to others to develop it.

Where is your Minister of Ag and his bureaucrats. We should stand up for the farmers.
