    If its over.....

.....we ended up getting .91 inches of rain.

The timing and gentle nature of how it fell was welcome.

    Nice.

Did I get this right? An inch of rain over full quarter section is equal to 4,334,685 US gallons or 3,620,571 Imperial gallons. Kinda hard to beleive.

Yes math is correct! Hit a jackpot slow rain of .8 inches followed by a heavier bonus round shower that moved in from NE(usually they go that way) that hit us right on the button. Making a full inch. Ideal really everything soaked in nicely. Everybody happy happy!

Slow rain and we were almost done seeding. Cant ask for more. Last Canola is L140 its ok next week to seed. This is a rain. nice and slow soaker. But the last shower that hit before supper could of missed us and got some one else. That was not needed.
Oh well way better than last 13 years of rain like the no snow or very little followed by 3/4 two weeks ago then now rain after seeding. Instead of heavy snow then wet snow after melt then three inches a week all spring followed by heavier rain all summer.
I like the change so far and change is good.

Lol. Coming into our rainy month. Probably in a couple weeks nothing but complaints on here about how we cannot get our spraying done. Remember a couple times that happening over the years.

That would sure be the normal, can't rain when needed, can't STOP when flooding! It feeds on it's self.
Inertia, things tend to go as they are...oh don't forget the wind will be back...
