Bragging about the carbon capture project is like George W putting up his Mission Accomplished Banner.
    It's just not ready.
    Super expensive
Only running at under 40% efficiency

A failure of the coal carbon capture project will in my opinion mean hard times for the City of Estevan.....and electrical rates that don't bode ell for the Sask economy at large.

I'm afraid it will not be successful.

Just why can't there be some focus and progress on putting all vented/flare gas to some productive uses (not to mention the 60% of waste heat that practically never is put to any use.

Those potential energy amounts are very significant; but yet practically every BTU is squandered for no productive benefit.

        Greenhouses and fertilizer? Maybe.

        Wall doesn't have good advisors.

Flare gas should be used not wasted.

Heat could be put to better use.

Better to be paying cenovus 12 million ....I guess.

If the technology worked ..... wouldn't suzuki and the band be promoting it worldwide.

It was pointed out earlier in this thread that research on technology how to get from fossil fuels to renewable energy is needed.
Sask Power may be on wrong track but give it credit for trying.

As I understand it, Suzuki and his gang want to leave fossil fuels in the ground but no plan to get through next few years without coal and oil.

40 or 50 yrs ago we were told that we were running out of oil. Now there is an abundance and everyone is drilling everywhere. That tells me either they didn't have a clue, were lying or mother nature is making more at a faster rate.

Maybe it isn't fossil fuel at all but an ever increasing byproduct of the molten of the inner earth. They were wrong before.
