Currently some great pricing on 46 a little nervous about chipping away at a giant lump next spring. Anyone try mixxing in a dessicant like silica gel or something similar like that stuff at Rona to remove humidity to prevent that from happening?

When we put urea in the bins in fall or early winter we put some "cat-litter" on the gate, then plastic then more cat-litter(don't blast it away with a full stream of fert, run the auger quite empty til everything has is covered with fert). Obviously easiest if the bin has an access hole on the cone. Then under the top lid on top we duct tape plastic to prevent snow from blowing in.
If you take delivery soon, preparing the bottom of the bin would be futile if you intend to turn the fert before winter sets in. And sealing the top wouldn't be necessary until late fall.
How much a tonne are you getting quoted? We use our fert bins for grain In fall if we can't squeeze the crop in regular bins. Man biglentil, it would be nearly a year before you need it, unless you're doing some fall seeded cereals.

Quoted $375 today, take and of June, pay end of July. Personally, I think its ridiculous to have to pay for next yr when there's so many more bills to pay yet this yr. Some may be still paying for this years fert. I have tons of storage but use it for harvest storage.

Wise guy every last thing we buy we get screwed on. Nothin new here to talk about, move along sonny. If I'm not mistaken roughly $335 is dealer wholesale at the moment BL. Rumor is Yara full and blowing some out (poor Yara hahaha) to continue line production without shutting down and laying off. That's the story I was told. Probably bullshit but who really knows??

At least be realistic WG. There's bullshit and there's plain bullshit. Nothin makes a man look more a fool than stretching the truth. Perhaps then you can ship me a few hundred tons of 46?? I could pay you a healthy commission and still be ahead by your math. Couple more 680s and FD40s as well please. Big crop comin..

That is cheap compared to what we paid last fall! About 35 cents per actual. Why.so.cheap? China, Russia, Mid East product driving Canadian Manufacturing Theive's prices down?

Wiseguy, you appear to think the prices being quoted are low. If your buying for half price including exchange in the u.s. these prices would still be very high and shouldn't interest you. "You have much to learn grasshoppa!"
