    Saskatchewan budget guesses

I am thinking 1.5 billion to as high as 2 billion.

    What do you guys think?

I'll guess, less deficit than that, but a lot more austerity.

Sure hope there is austerity. It is really the most important thing. I think you're in the ballpark bucket, unfortunately.

$434 million deficit for SK, doesn't sound nearly as bad as Manitoba's which came out yesterday(I think), at something like $941 million.?

Plus 1 billion in infrastructure which was termed out. Let's add up all the numbers Border

In defence of mb.the books were a lot worse than the previous gov. was letting on. Hopefully they get the ship turned around.

Good luck with that perfecto. Has their ever been an ndp gov. that acted fiscally responsible?

Likely not...but how many conservative have been as well....The cons have added more debt to Canada than even the Liberals....the only real downturn in Canada's debt was by Martin and Chretien...scary, isn't it?

Actually, now that I think of it... NDP Muclair was beating a fiscally responsible budget...that did him in!

Martin and Chretien, did a great job of reducing the debt, but then fiscally Conservative Harper added $160 billion to the deficit.

Yup, some people just don't seem to get it, but will continue to brag how good the Conservatives are at lower government spending.
