You keep fooling yourself that Harper had to run the deficit up because of the Liberals and the NDP, when the real reason was he was scared to lose his job as PM if a election were to be held.

Again, Harper was not willing to make tough decisions, as he would rather hold on to power and leave the country with a $160 billion debt.


Farmranger, you know very well that Harper was a big DUD, but you've been drinking the blue kool-aid way to long to admit it.

Since your using vehicles as an analogy, I would say Harper at best is a worn out old Lada, with absolutely no trade in value, and that's why he'e calling it quits in a couple of months.

As usual your missing the point, Martin and Chretien stopped the deficit habits of prior governments, but your Con/Reformer hero Harper, when getting into power started running them again. In fact, Harper has increased the national debt by $160 billion, more than any other PM.
