    Another Ag screw job ...

Kinda like John Deers weather stations that are very ridiculously over priced..
We have a small side by side with a brand name on er and the small 13 hp vanguard engine gave up. Well , through the €@$$ company it is $4800 dollars to replace !!!! Even had them double check !! I only paid $7000 brand new for the thing !!
I can get that very same little engine out of Stoon for $1500 . Come on Deer/Case/ Agco wtf is the matter with you guys - get real .

I wonder if its getting close to killing off the goose....

To add insult, get your genuine green part and see it's made in China.
Get a similar jobber part and made in USA! For much less!

Furrow I have 7660 spra coupe. I was putting the duals on and found 4 of the wheel studs had bad threads. They are a 22mmx 90mm bolt. Phone local dealer 200 dollars a piece and none in stock. Couldn't believe it. I go online and find a Euclid stud that looks like it will work. Phone my local supplier and he can have them the next day for 15 dollars each. It turns out I have to shorten them 1/2 an inch and grind the shoulder a bit but for 185 dollars per bolt I can do that. Parts pricing has reached insane levels.

Ya , 500% mark up on junk made in China .... With a Color change and a brand name sticker.
It's is beyond insane now. They should be fricken embarrassed to screw their customers that bad .
And they are all the same , J/D - Case - Agco .
The sad thing is that they are so arrogant to keep the "genuine parts" thing in your face.

For an older versatile CNH 2 foot long hydraulic brake line $267. At same parts desk got it through Beuler for $56. Crazy run and hide from CNH, Agco much more reasonable IMO.

Always remember that it was the genuine part that failed in the first place. Jobber parts only please.

At least my local dealer was very good about it, they actually gave me the number to call in Stoon and help locate the right little gas engine .

Same thing older model versatile. CNH wanted $300 for hose from muffler to air filter housing and Versatile was $170. Hydraulic control cable CNH $180 while versatile was $130. We are getting hosed all the time. American dollar goes up 10% and parts increase 20%. Not to mention they try to make it impossible finding jobber stuff by making it impossible to cross ref their numbers. Like hydraulic motors, pumps, and bearings.

When a guy is in a hurry to get back going he doesn't have time to shop around....that's when we get ripped off.

If you have time try Bolt Supply House and you will a significant savings for all fasteners.
For U-Bolts Winnacott Spring seems to be best.
                            (These are both in Saskatoon)
