What are guys thresholds for wind speeds. Guys were spraying here for most of the day 45 plus km/hr wind. I will spray in wind up to 25 km/hr maybe push to 30 km/hr. I leave at least 800 feet buffer (8 passes). No AIM; low booms; low pressure; Air bubble jets nozzles; 6 gal/ac. I like to spray in 8 km/hr winds but we get about 3 spray days like that here... I will not start spraying til at least 6:30 and there is some air movement; stop in the evening if wind dies right off and dust hangs. Spraying at night seems prone to inversion drift - and far worse than wind related drift problems.

20-25 k , unless I have to finish something and I am in the middle of a half section with my own crops around

There was seriously guys spraying today ????
The wind here never dropped below 20 k until after 8 pm again .
Wind was over 20 by 8:30 am
Pre burn can be tolerable , but now ????

Read some study that showed most if not all herbicides most effective mid day and terribly ineffective (like halved) when sprayed late in the day or at night. Yes and inversion risk scary!

That should be NDP - lol
That is somewhat correct , but herbicides like round up and enforcer are still very effect in those conditions
Liberty , most BASF products - obviously not . They need sunshine and warm temps .

You're probably right furrow, thats best time for hobby's sprayer to come out from between tree rows too.

                          PS completely joking hobby

Most chem you can spray to flag leaf..
