I find smaller droplets are key. 10 gallons with large droplets doesn't work. We use twin nozzles. Sunny and 24 helps too. I had amazing results last year at 1 l/ac with centurion. Made a calculation error and thought i was going to have a wreck but was clean. Strong crop competition helped.

I put way more in 1 gal an acre of fert grade.

Horizon blairs and coop all stock spray grade ams.

15 gpa at 110 psi with twin nozzles. Agree with brave coverage is key. Also do like he does and mix assure in. Don't like clethodim and reserve it for flax.

Normally we use spray grade AMS. This year we had 500 litres of liquid fertilizer AMS left over that we have been using. We haven't noticed any difference in control.

        Everyone here uses well water.

crusher , i was thinking of using twin nozzles also , I have twin 04guardians that have no drift control about 80 psi at 10gpa , medium droplets , wonder how that would work ?

From what I understand Liberty was once a 10L jug, with instructions to add your own AMS. Then enough farmers ignored the label, didn't add AMS, didn't get good control and were filing complaints...(surprise
So Bayer added AMS to the Liberty and went to the 13L jug to keep it simple for us dumb farmers.
            Anyone know if that's correct?

never heard that but know that it used to work a lot better when it used to foam all over when you were mixing it ? ever since they made it quit foaming , I have been getting about 50/50 results
. I absolutely hate that shit , but it's a necessary evil to grow it for canola rotations

                    I appreciate all the comments.

                    Any one adding humic acid?
                    Or
                    Alpine?

Wow additives of every kind coming out, they all seem to have limited local data, European, etc

The dim vs fop debate (assure and centurion) centurion we have very very good results with 2 litres alpine added to the liberty. Usually spot spray wild oat patches then about a week or two latter ( depends on everything) 1.4 litres Liberty, centurion 60 ac case.😀

We use humic acid (Lignohumate). On everything, every pass. On canola, we use Alpine (G22) second pass then drop the AMS so the S and Alpine don't antagonize.
