AIM works very well , it's guys who push things way way too far that cause problems .

Aim is one of the best tools on my farm. Being able to set the rate an pressure and know it going to stay there is priceless. I was applying some fert last week in the hills using pwm, with all the hills and speed changes my rate was all over the place. Up and down 50% each way. With aim it just sits right where I set it.

Caseih....would you say your application rate is accurate? We know our field sizes and can fill to what we want and be pretty darn close.

            Aim must be more "responsive"?

There's alot of solenoids and wiring.

farma this rogator is very good that way. cannusually get it within 5 gals its a very good sprayer but would be better if it had aim on it
ado. that blows my mind that there is no air pressure in the tanks on the monitor. seems so simple .... ? someone does that here every year . years ago a talented guy built his own air tank . he had a latex glove clamped ontp a nipple and it would wave at him as he was going , no pressure in tank and it would go limp . everyone laughed but it worked . dont know what the f$&k is wrong with ALL air tank manufacturers ??? and that was back in the early 80's lol

Just heard young spray operator hit a power pole. Not sure how extensive the injuries are from electrocution. Please be careful. Farming is a dangerous occupation.

we lost a friend and neighbor last week , he was opening booms and contacted power line . cant believe they still build these wing booms opening up in the air ? this one we have is only 90 feet and goesup 25-30 feet in the air if wing are lifted as high as possible and it only takes one second

S3 always knows best. Have two high end John Deere sprayer neighbours that keep burning off several patches in my fields every year

Funny thing I don't have neighbors complaining about my aim and I do spray in higher winds if I need to

Could be the operator but then again I don't know as much as s3

Crops advancing slowly here as usuall. Moisture is ideal and deep after 6.5" since May 10. Few drowned spots but better than dust and grasshoppers. Overall crop is 8.5/10 at this point. Ran 3 case sprayers over 6 years all had AIM. Fantastic system. Now with a Deere 4940 I absolutely miss it .. However besides a little on the heavy side I would keep the Deere over my 3 Cases on GPS alone. The sharpshooter option you can put on a Deere is by no means AIM. They try to tell you it's exactly the same but it's not. On a case your pump varies speed and your hertz to the solenoids also change to vary rate and pressure. On the non factory sharpshooter it is limited to only hertz at the solenoids from my understanding. This is a vast difference in the systems. Accuracy is another story. The Deere is accurate but always 5 gallons short or 10 long. With the case and AIM it is absolutely bang on every time.

Not knocking anything but what percentage of your tank volume is 5 gallons not enough or ten gallons too much ? .41% to .83% of 1200 gallon tank.

Now if the weather could only be as perfect as RTK Autosteer, Sectional Control, Application Technology and Prescription Application Technology....

Hair splitting technology in a perilous production system. ....not performing brain surgery!
