Ammonia doesnt do anything for pulling the oily Simplicity, must add Merge or strong detergent like allclear needs to sit over night in booms.

Had same issue last year using tandem and mcpa. Was using 10 gap of water but no AMS. I believe I tried all clear, then merge and finally Liberty. At the time I had a 4655 spra coupe. The inside of the tank and the main and boom filters still had a light white coating. It must have been calcium because I bought 50 gallons of vinegar as a final flush as I was going to spray invigor canola. The vinegar removed the white film. This year used Varro Stellar and AMS. No issues with residues, I will wait and see if it kills the wild oats, not a huge Varro fan but wasn't chancing simplicity again. Worth noting my dealer was not touching the new granular simplicity.

Jug says you can use ammonia to clean..Or all clear..
I think the ag surf or agral 90 makes it sticky..We mixed MCPA ..no issues..

SJC, where do you get your water? Did you drop it into main tank with lots of agitation? Did you add any MCPA? lots of variables. Sure hoping it works, VERY simple sounding! We had fun again with Velocity barrels, very shitty set up inside. Mixer thing and crappy draw tubes. Stay away from them.

Fj, does Bayer have some sort of agitation device in the Velocity barrels? How do you agitate that much volume?

I found liquid Simplicity mixed easier than Velocity. Velocity turns into sticky snot...it will come off, but takes as lot chem handler rinsing to get it off.

Ya you use a cordless drill for one minute to mix. One barrel fell apart inside and ruined the chem pump. This year one barrel made the pump suck air, bad draw tube inside. Never sticky or trouble with screens at all. Kills just fine. Cheap with Bayer rebates.

Yup...good chemical and good for group1 resistant wild oats.....but I wouldn't go as far as to say "cheap"!

I used water from the well. Its a little high in bicarbonate but not anything they consider an issue. Bayer sampled it for me and said it was good this spring. I mixed it with MCPA Ester. I agitated it throughout. The rep came out and said he was told the tests were done in warm water with the product so now guys are using cold water there seems to be issues. From what I hear there are pockets where guys had trouble and other areas where there were none. They dont know what is causing it. Oh well rained here all day anyway and I got this bad boy so clean you could eat off the tank. lol well maybe not.
