Just finished cleaning screens, nozzles as the new wonderful Simplicity Dry plugged everything up. Nice scummy white crap everywhere. That's the 2nd new product from Dow that plugged the sprayer. I added Prepass flex to my pre seed earlier and had an issue. I'm sorry but when their comment is "we have had a few minor cases. Add AMS and it will be fine" just doesn't cut it. You come out and clean the dam sprayer. What if I miss some? Liberty is next. That will pull whatever is left out. End of rant. ...

You can only physically clean what you see. What about hoses, booms, etc. My advice would be to put something in the sprayer that will lift everything off, detergent and ammonia? Is there any highly effective sprayer cleaner available from chem retailers. We use ammonia but it isn't suitable for all cleaning purposes.
On the Simplicity label, Dow is actually describing a cleaning method using something called "All Clear", I can't actually tell you whats in it.
Take the time to clean it properly. Sometimes I think the sooner its cleaned after the product was sprayed the better.
3. COMPOSITION, INFORMATION ON INGREDIENTS of All Clear.

....looks like a little more than just ammonia or detergent.

At golf club yesterday the topic got onto investments. All 4 had sold their companies. One guy has lost 6 million of his stash on tech stock and 2 others have lost their arses and are talking about going back to work. One guy has his money in the bank.

we really spend a lot of time cleaning our sprayer always use ammonia and yet if we are spraying liberty and stop for even 2 hours and dont flush booms it will wreck a 1/4 mile of canola with whatever residue it can scrub outta booms

Had same issue last year using tandem and mcpa. Was using 10 gap of water but no AMS. I believe I tried all clear, then merge and finally Liberty. At the time I had a 4655 spra coupe. The inside of the tank and the main and boom filters still had a light white coating. It must have been calcium because I bought 50 gallons of vinegar as a final flush as I was going to spray invigor canola. The vinegar removed the white film. This year used Varro Stellar and AMS. No issues with residues, I will wait and see if it kills the wild oats, not a huge Varro fan but wasn't chancing simplicity again. Worth noting my dealer was not touching the new granular simplicity.
