I didn't go but when I looked in the magazine I couldn't find MacDon in the Exhibitor's list either. Were they there?

There were several pieces of MacDon equipment outside near some of the bin and auger manufacturers.
I didn't check to see if it was a dealer for MacDon or MacDon itself.

Did not see Versatile though and pretty sure they were there last year?

More and more manufacturers are getting sick of dealing with the city for move in and the general process of dealing with the Farm Progress Show. There will be more manufacturers leaving in the future.

Progress is waning, Saskatoon in July will dominate...City is NOT the location, agree...

I don't blame CaseIH one bit for pulling out of this shit show called Farm Progress...the organizers have made progress in killing this show. Manufacturers are slowly making the decision that the politics around this show aren't worth the hassle.

Well I like Regina, the timing, etc.
                - Commercial businesses need the flagging trucks, signage etc., we are still fortunate as f plate vehicles there is more lea way for hauling equipment. Not sure if it was law or not but we alway thought farm equipment had the right of way?
                - if it rains you can get under a roof and look at the indoor exhibits, and get the vehicle out
                - there are all the "new accessories " or add on the oem didn't think of or to keep cost down, or pump it out and let the field engineers figure it out for us r&d departments. All the small start up booths.
                - I can't speak to the costs, it would cost a lot more than people would think. I can't even guess
                - shows come and go, themes and needs change, every thing is a cycle. We go every year, it takes two days to get through. Never regretted the time or our cost to attend, pressure to finish crop spraying etc
                - we go for beer at the end of the day.
                - it's professional development, it should be mandatory for farmers to attend these types of show every year. It's difficult for companies to help people when they choose not to understand or help themselves

I'm 4.5 hours to Regina and 4.5 hours to red deer. The best view of Regina is in my rear view mirror. I'll go to the farm show in red deer in November any day before Regina.

Have to agree with TNT. Last time we bothered going, parked 6 blocks away, walked to car in a foot of water. At least they didn't put a new football stadium in the same area. In terms of timing, we have never been done spraying at this time. 80 % of neighbours are not done, either. Go to a football game in Dallas, 80000 people gone in 45 minutes. In Regina, you haven't made it back to your truck in that time. Gotta love Ag In Motion in Stoon {area}. Right on highway 16, park 100 feet from booths, exhibitors love it and its in July when most farming pressure is off.
